Breathing Meditation: Finding Calm Within - With Music

Why is our breath so magical? What can it do for us?  How can we utilize it to heal our bodies? 

Our breath is an absolute magical healing force that it accessible to us anytime that we desire.  It has the power to shift energy and activate the parasympathetic nervous system.  Our nervous system is responsible for so many processes within our body and the more frequently we maintain parasympathetic states, (rest and digest) the better we feel and the quicker our body heals.

When we feel anxiety or experience chronic stress, it means that our sympathetic nervous system is activated (our body is on high alert for danger). Of course experiencing stress is normal, but if we stay in this state for a prolonged amount of time, health issues can arise in the body.  Something as simple as breathing intentionally, can bring us back to a calmer state of being.

Because we are so eager to invite people to explore the magic of breath, we have created this breath journey series.  We have made one powerful meditation and offer it in 10 minutes, 15 minutes and 25 minutes.  The intention behind this one is to align the nervous system and rid the body of anxiety and stress.  If you are new to breath work, we suggest starting with our 10 minute version.
